On February 26, 1993, a truck bomb was detonated below the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The 1,336 pounds (606 kg) urea nitrate–hydrogen gas enhanced device[1] was intended to send the North Tower (Tower 1) crashing into the South Tower (Tower 2), bringing both towers down and killing tens of thousands of people.[2][3] It failed to do so but killed six people and injured more than a thousand.

The attack was planned by a group of terrorists including Ramzi Yousef, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammad Salameh, Nidal A. Ayyad, Abdul Rahman Yasin and Ahmed Ajaj. They received financing from Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, Yousef's uncle. In March 1994, four men were convicted of carrying out the bombing: Abouhalima, Ajaj, Ayyad and Salameh. The charges included conspiracy, explosive destruction of property, and interstate transportation of explosives. In November 1997, two more were convicted: Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind behind the bombings, and Eyad Ismoil, who drove the truck carrying the bomb.

Man hats off to you. I am one of the linguists from afghanistan who will be coming to US in the next month or so. Been a linguist for 6+ years. I am planning on becoming a truck driver. Always wondering how i will be treated. But then i see people like you who use some brain instead of listening to faux news. Been in Afghanistan 3 times. Helmand, khandahar, kabul, and gardez. I have been born abroad, been to 20plus countries, and live overseas now. I love life and different people but Sir, I have seen the worst human beings in my life in Afghanistan. Mass boy rapes, torture, etc. Sorry cant sugar coat Afghanistan. Wouldn't last one day in Garmsir without an M4 and my Marine buddies. Political correctness can be just as bad as racism.

 

Last month or so a guy in the Saudi Air Force was sentenced to 30 years in a Nevada prison for raping a young boy in Las Vegas. The Saudi was going through some type of training at Nellis Air Force Base. He raped the little boy in some hotel at a casino on the strip. He can't understand what he did wrong. He had the dumbfounded look on his face the whole time during the trial because he just doesn't understand what he did wrong.

 

Gardez is where I am from. I swear to God I have never seen and heard of mass boy rapes. Well, surely you wouldn't survive without your m4 because you were there to fight. You go to any country for fight, don't expect it to be something like honeymoon and The reason why you haven't experienced the actual Afghanistan. It is much much different. Long story short, it is the most stupid thing to say Muslims are terrorists. We do have some idiots just like you have them in US. Peace bud.
