THIS IS SO TRUE - and when we ask how did you drive two years wihout learning to back the answer is 'I am a highway driver - I don't do deliveries / PU'... I guess they don;t park in teh yard either

I was even starting to get into backing up the LCV's, or backing the A-Box with a converter hooked up, to a B Box. We have a couple guys who can do it, blows my mind every time.Another Canadian driver and Phantom Trucker Thank this. -

When I got my licence at the age of 18, the local trucking company hired me to shunt trailers and help out in the shop. A few years before they had a stretch with some bad wrecks. It didn't matter if they hired someone with no experience or 20 years they were paying the highest insurance rate. This was 25 years ago I'm sure they wouldn't be able to operate like that these days and stay in business.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
