Hello, today I had a delivery and I forgot the bill of landing. A few minutes ago broker called me and asked me about the load, I told him that everything is fine A d he asked me exactly hour when, I told him that I'm driving and can't find it right now, but I told him approximate hour.

What can I do, I hear without the bill of landing broker doesn't pay.
I have a copy of the bill but it's not original and it's not signed. I made a copy at the pick up.

    any help is welcomed.

    Balakov100 Thanks this.

Ahh..Dont sweat it, IT HAPPENS to everyone...
When you get home or to a truckstop...have the customer fax you a copy of the signed BOL...(if you need the original, have them mail it to you.)
    No Big deal, It happens
Most brokers pay on fax copies anyhow..If you need the 'original' (which i doubt) have it mailed

    This is a trucking forum.

    I'm confused.
What kind of truck do you have?
How and why did you land at the delivery?
And why is there a bill for it?

    Skydivedavec and biggare1980 Thank this.

Aww that's not too bad, I went through customs today, and they asked for my ace sheet and to see my bills, but they never gave me my bols back, told me I was good to go, and realized it when I was heading to the exit...at that point it was either stop the truck in the middle of a customs check point and have a gun drawn on me, or risk driving to the nearest truck stop, telling my company what happened and having the customer fax me the bills...I went with the option that didn't involve looking at the business end of a .45
