Hi MorningStarr, Welcome aboard, we're all bozo's on this bus. I have news for you, it's not the same job it was in the 90's. You may miss it now, but that could change after 2 days. The cell phone changed everything, and now everything is so time centered. One of the reasons I gave up trucking after 35 years, was as soon as the cell phone came out, it became, "Where are you now"?( 10 minutes later), "Where are you now"? ( I'm 10 minutes down the road from the last time you called, idiot) Trucking just has too many variables, and doesn't work like clockwork. Couple that to stupid HOS rules, no parking, distracted drivers and ever increasing costs on the road, not to mention pay that hasn't kept pace with the rest of the job market, and you may think twice why you went back into it. I don't ever care to drive a truck again, and that's a shame, because, I really did like the actual driving of the truck. Good luck.
