Former pilot/flying j exec says he loved the fuel rebate scam

as i read this however, it is NOT Haslam himself that admits it on tape, but a guy that is now on trial, to another guy?

if so, (to me) it's a case of "hearsay". or, "he said/he said".

unless Haslam HIMSELF is on tape admitting he loved this scam, i cannot and will not believe the tape, of SOMEONE else saying that "he loved it"....

 

oh, i got distracted by a phone call and didn't finish, my bad.. i am not saying the CEO is innocent, just that he himself wasn't caught on tape of a conversation with the guy wearing the wire.

might be guilty as all heck, but as i see it/read it, it's "he said/he said".

they need solid proof of the CEO saying he loved it.

 

Pretty much what I was going to say.

Did he know about it? My money is on "yes." Can it be proven? Not unless there is corroboration of some kind. Being rich and politically well-connected will afford him much better "justice."
