funny is i am actually a corrections officer now and we have dogs come in and out hop in cells tight spots. When those spots are higher then say 4 ft the owner will lift his dog into said spot. I dont think you plan on lifting your dogs into your truck . Not saying the dogs dont do worse then climb in and out of a truck who are police dogs but they do it to a fault. You are right there is no forcing and thats the problem they will HURT THEMSELVES to please you doesnt me they can or like doing it.

i find it funny you post this because all of which is just telling me what is really happening, your dog clearly has separation anxiety he does not like riding in a car he knows your leaving and he doesnt want to be left behind should do some research on it might clarify a few issues as to dogs liking car rides. well thats my last post here this is turning into a **** show -
And name calling, seriously? And I'm the "little girl"...
The whole point of the original question is to ask advice from people who do take their dogs, was never meant to be a argument about it, you should have started with why you wouldn't recommend it, I was looking for suggestions and advice, not questions to a questions, mud slinging and name calling. Generally people who just say "why would you want to take your dog" or anything along those lines tend not to be pet owners and don't tend to understand bond between pet and owner -
Get along people.
