So to get it shortened its going to be 3500 bucks at freightliner ..for everything .. will guarantee the work.
what would be good ratio ?? for reefer ? 255?

talked with the owners . old couple retired. Did oil changes every 10k seem like nice people . they moved furniture with it , never drove it in winter .

but there is ONE little problem!!:biggrin_25523: there is gotta be always something.....they wont let me due the dyno. its 3 hrs from portland . they said no.

So i was thinking 21000 plus 3500...got my self a nice truck

Why an 18-spd for a van puller? Plenty of T2's out there with 13's in them. Work out better in the long run.

I would look around for another truck that is already set up the way you want. There are a lot of good trucks around. You should find what you want without having to spend the extra money. But, if you decide to proceed, I would ask for some discounts or have them do the work before buying it, or at least before you take possession of it. I understand what you mean about knowing the history. I bought a truck several years ago that had only one owner and he drove all the miles. The reason he was selling the truck was due to him retiring. I got the truck for less than wholesale.

just take the box off the back move the 5th wheel forward and run with it, the wheel base doesn't look that long. by the time you put the 5th wheel where it should be i don't think it would be that bad from what i see in the pics.
