Fracking jobs in the gas industry

The gas gig is in/around Towanda, PA now.
Yes, 12 hour shifts four or five days a week.
You get weekends off.
You spend half your time sitting around waiting to
load or unload the water into holding ponds or tanks.
They put you up in a house or motel in town.
The house I'm in is a 4-bedroom with 8 guys on
split shifts ( 4 work while the other 4 are off ).
Not to bad and the $$$ is real good.
Rather be doing this than go back on the road.

 

I had to insist on a local motel room when it came open.
The house you share has 12 guys in there and you can't
get any sleep with that many people knocking around.
Not to mention everybody eats everyone elses food.
And there is always one or two guys in the house who
thinks he is king, on a power trip, etc.
Forget the house sharing thing if you go up there.
Get them to give you a motel room or forget it.
