Well, obviously it's their fault for not doing any research at all and jumping head first into an empty pool with their eyes closed. But that doesn't take away what Crispy Crengland is.

Well, are you a whiner or a winner then? One is satisfied, the other a complainer.
I make a thousand a week and go home every night. Not bad for an entry level job. In this industry it seems that many people don't make the modest effort to find out the opportunities available with their employer and so get negative attitudes and go off half ####ed - that is why I occasionally offer to answer questions.

As a reasonable person, I'm sure you would not disapprove of that

Are you making less than that? A thousand per week is a modest wage in this industry

Your story is a bit hard to believe. Why don't you expand on it? I mean I've seen Crispy Crengland daycabs but I know a company like them will never pay per hour. So I'm assuming you get paid per trip or a flat daily rate. $1k/week gross working how many days out of the week? How many hours? $1k a week working 70 hours, 6 days out of the week is a joke. Even Central has better pay and hours than that and they are as easy to get into as CRE.

So please explain how does it work so we can maybe find out about the only decent job CRE might have to offer???

I want to say something, I once picked up a load an LTL yard in Commiefornia, I think the company was called Daylight Transport or something. They had plaques on the wall of their million milers. And one said CR England dedicated 3,000,000 miles and the guy's name. I don't drink or smoke so I know it actually said that.

He is also asking how he can Maximize his log book time so I assume he is otr and $200-$300 a week or a recruiter.

England has most of the WalMart refer business now. You work out of a Distribution center and deliver to 3 or 4 stores each day. You can't always go home because some times you run out of hours on the road. The job is pretty flexible: you can manipulate your clock so if you want more time off you can have it; or you can hustle and pull more freight if you are up to it.
it pays $.36/mile and $15/stop plus bonuses. The bonuses increase with longevity so at first, you have to work pretty hard to make a grand a week, but with time you can make more or work less and make the same.

Because we are doing exactly the same job as the WalMart drivers, it is a good "in" to a Wal Mart job after a few years - another reason to stay with it.

Wal Mart drivers start at 75-80 thousand per year.
