Figured I'd share what little knowledge I have. You can have free WiFi in your truck every night. Here's what you need 1. Either a laptop or cheap windows tablet with hdmi port. 2. A yagi wifi antenna with a signal booster. I paid 40$ for mine off eBay.
This setup will allow you to pick up wireless signals a half mile away. Which means that you can log into any open signal, mcds, Dennys, hotels, and ect... I have a signal everywhere I stop. Surf the net, watch Netflix, do whatever. All in all my system cost me 190$.100 for a 24 inch TV, 50 for a surface pro with a cracked screen, and 40 for the antenna. I have a USB keyboard plugged in and a USB game controller as well. The cracked screen doesn't matter because it's hooked to my TV. And as a side note for anyone who enjoys gaming, the surface pro plays pretty much anything from ps2 emulation down. Plus most of the newer pc games.

Another side note... I know about this stuff because I have pretty much the same system at home, minus the tablet. Instead I have my pc hooked to my TV. And the antenna is on the roof of my house and wired into a wireless repeater in my attic which supplies a wireless signal to my entire house. I haven't paid for Internet in 8 years, instead I am tapped into the library about a mile down the street. Just some money saving tips for everyone
