I think that happens at alot of company's cowpie , i was at cornhusker for a long time and they were good for playing games also and I know there are lots of ex cml office people at fcc that remember I had a low tolerance for BS and told things how they were...babyish I think but can't deny FCC is a very well run company .

Well, there is no "perfect" company. One has to weigh the positives and negatives to see if there are enough positives to make it worth it. It almost seems like having to search for a needle in a haystack for many. When the positives significantly outweigh any negatives, it is a find. It was pure chance I happened upon FCC 8 years ago. Even then, I spent several months talking with them before taking the leap. But I had a ok gig when I was looking at them. I knew the writing was on the wall with the company I was with, and sure enough, 2 months after I jumped over to FCC, the other company sold out. Whew.... dodged that bullet.
bzinger Thanks this. -
Ain't that the truth cowpie ! , years ago FCC tried several times to get me away from cml but all I looked at back then was money and I know it made the recruiter mad ...ironically after cml imploded in 07 I tried to go to FCC and they stonewalled me ...I reapplied last Nov. With perfect mvr blah blah and still stonewalled ...they got a long memory ! Lol

Does FCC run any roll top flatbeds? What about auto trucks? TIA

Not a word from FCC since March. A joke.
I hired on with a small company out of MS and have been extremely happy here. Only 15%, tons of freight and really nice people. I'll stick and so can FCC. -

I have to update that one. Have seen a couple of roll tops in the last few months. And yep, they did get some auto trucks. Drivers seem to like them. But Mike's company trucks are spec'd pretty well with the driver in mind. 70"+ long sleepers, Fridges, inverters, APU's, etc.
Just went over my 9th year with FCC last January. No desire to go anywhere else. Home every weekend and holiday, hardly ever run more than 500-600 miles from the house in any direction, and cleared a net of over $80K for each of the last few years. Finally had to do an LLC thing last year with an S Corp tax structure to get the tax liability a little more under control. No sitting around with this outfit. Almost always another load booked before I am done with the current one. And most of the customers a real pleasure to work with.runningfr8, Crusader66 and bzinger Thank this.
