Bet this makes service cost go up. The dealer network is still going to be needed for delivery prep and fixing broken trucks. Not like back in the 1960’s were you could drive your brand new truck out of the factory yourself. This means if they arn’t making anything in an initial sale then they will have to gouge on service parts and labor. The factory isn’t going to have a parts dept open to the public is it?

If my local Pete dealer doesn’t stock anything unless they sell a certain number of that item over the course of 3 months. I’d much rather have a log in for my truck and be able to order parts shipped to my door instead of the dealer ordering the part and then having to drive an hour to go pick it up when it comes in.gentleroger Thanks this. -
Carvana for Class 8. Get your truck out of a vending machine.
