The dealers are wise now, they won't give part numbers over phone. Houston Freightliner is the worst they not only not give discount but selling over list price.

If it's right behind the drivers door it sounds like the bunk heater is leaking. Depending on the year depends on how easy it is to see. But there's two hard lines that run back and up into the bunk heater. Either replace the heater core, which is fairly easy or cut the hoses and run a heater line between the send and return lines.

Also remembered if the def tank is on that side it could be your def tank header. That's not a fun one. I think the part alone is $1800 probably worth it to buy a used def tank and send me $5

go to MAJOR COMPONENTS list - don't just hit "GO" to the right of the serial # - much more detail in that list

under ENGINE select AIR COMPRESSOR and you will see the coolant lines listed

170 COOLANT LINE DDE A4722002152 1 EA Footnote: FEED LINE: FROM CYLINDER CRANKCASE TO AIR COMPRESSOR

200 COOLANT LINE DDE A4722002252 1 EA Footnote: RETURN LINE: FROM AIR COMPRESSOR TO FUEL FILTER

If it’s the DEF header you can buy a o-ring kit for just the contol solenoid for @$20

I thought so too, but the o-ring kit only reduced the leak for me. 99% of the time that fixes it. Found a new header on ebay from a reputable parts dealer for only $225 including shipping. Replaced that and no further problems.

if you are looking at the right spot it will specify what the hose connects to, there are two hoses, one goes in the other goes out. It should say the same thing .....

FEED LINE: FROM CYLINDER CRANKCASE TO AIR COMPRESSOR

RETURN LINE: FROM AIR COMPRESSOR TO FUEL FILTER

I do see the same part 203 on my page but it does not list what it is form It has one attachment to the compressor then splits into two connections to whatever else. Maybe it is used on another version with a different cooling setup. Just look at your truck to be absolutely sure it is a singe connection on each end, although I've never seen it any other way.
