Freightliner Cascadia dd15 eng2 001SPN003464 throttel CMD. 32

The ECM is logging a fault. THROTTLE malfuction is minor....a cmd fault. Its being stored for the tech back at the shop. Do not try to clear it. Keep Running unless the truck becomes unsafe to drive. The Freightliner shop can clear all the faults when doing a routine pm and advise you what happened.

You should log date and time the fault happened so you can reference to it if it continues...It may even clear itself by restarting the engine.

 

Looks like the problem is a sensor or even in the program itself. Do you have a Dealer inroute...should you lose power?

 

Lets actually see what PSL has to say about this fault code and not some haphazard guess.

From your picture, it looks like you have an ICU4M, and it is stating the ENG[ine] 2 (aka, MCM), SPN 3464 FMI 31. (I'm guessing you have an EPA 10 DD15 since you did not specify vintage of DD15...)

Looks like pin 4 and pin 5 of the Intake Throttle Valve harness needs to be checked. Check pin 5 to ground and pin 4 to pin 100 of the MCM 120 pin connector. Post your results.
