freightliner columbia ac issue

    good day all have a 05 columbia day cab with 14l Detroit when i cut switch on ac light comes on but the blower fan and ac clutch is not kicking in. ac system is pressurized and switches seem to be in spec. any ideas on what can cause this issue?

    Check the blower resistor, relays or fuses.

    I drove a 2005 columbia w/ a Detroit for a few years. The fan is located under the passenger's seat. When my fan stopped blowing, the problem was the fan was all gunked up with dirt and grease, and didn't want to turn. There should be some intake vents on the right hand side of the case that sits on top of the fan. Open those vents and take a look. I gently tapped the case with a hammer and the fan would start running. Did that for about a week.

    Blower motor bad . If blower dosent work the compessor won't engage there is a diode in the fan that goes bad

    my ac blower fan not running and compress not working, replace the ac blower fan , now everything work good, if ac blower fan not running ,ac compressor will not work
