Freightliner columbia power window switch not working

    Hello everybody,
    i was wondering if anybody had similar problem with 2005 columbia
    power window switch on driver side that controls passenger side window isnt working
    .i checked the switch and the switch is fine,removed door panel on driver side and everything looks good no signs of corossion or worn wires

    Please help.....thank you

    I had a 07 Century XL with the same thing and sometimes it would do the samething. What I found, doesnt mean it will work on your truck, Is if I work the window with the switch on the passenger side, then the switch in the driver door would work. I had to do that a couple times. Good luck.

    That's not what it is, been there. Take of the aluminum step plate
    at the bottom of the door. You'll find toward the front a connector,
    take it apart and check your connections. More than likely
    one of the wires has corrosion. Clean/replace your good

    You are right,that was partially my problem the other issue was seized hotizontal motor inside the mirror.....it's all good now I fixed everything
