    good day all freightliner ddec iv with kysor edm but the fan doesn't function properly. the fan is always on
    when i start truck fan free spins for a few seconds then the fan locks up. using dddl it says fan control 1 OPEN. I have checked the ac switches they function as normal. so i'm trying to figure out why ecm is keeping fan on all the time.

    Check the connections at the binary pressure switch.
    If they are corroded that will cause the fan to lock up.
