on October of 2013 I bought a 2010 cascadia freightliner, Detroit engine, well everything was going fine until engine brake stop working.
on the 17 of April. I left my truck ON the border freightliner of El Paso tx. because of the engine brake problem.
well they call me on the 23 of April and they toll me that the CAM HOUSING is damage so that they din't have it but they were ordering the part
and not to worry that the warranty was going to cover it all. PARTS AND LABOR .
well since then, I don't have my truck its being over two months and freightliner the only thing that they tell me is that the part (CAM HOUSING) is back order
and, later on the 5 of may they told me that they were not going to do the part no more so I'm looking for answers and every body tells me a different story one that the part is back order
and that i have to wait, I e-mail Daimler Trucks North America and at first I'm thinking OK they will help me but no, I was wrong the next day a call and Chryssa H answer the call
first she got mad because i call she ask me if i haven't receive her E- mail I send yes, she got mad told me not to call again if i Had received the E-mail that that was my answer from them. well after that I explained all my problem that after two months I don't have my truck
and that freight liner don't have any answers for me she told me to star looking another way of making my living because the truck wasn't going to be ready soon that the only one that will know is the freightliner from el paso tx but when i call them they go back saying that there waiting on the main freightliner and Detroit company to tell them what to do with my truck so basic i have to keep paying for a truck that freifgtliner sold me. All my bills are in delinquency, is frustrating that i put everything on my truck and i counted that my warranty both of them the extended and the manufacturer will do some thing about it but they don't. need an advice pls desperate truck driver . ex owner operator

	Sorry to hear this. 
 It sounds like you had a double whammy going on.....A non stellar dealer and an ignorant person on the end of a fone.
 Can it be driven as it is? Tried to get the housing yourself?
 If nothing else, call an attorney and see what they say, as no one here is one!

	Did you try e-mailing Detroit cust. service? I was being d##ked around at freightliner in Madison Wi and I for the heck of it e-mailed Detroit and low and behold 2 hrs later they said they found my problem and would have it fixed within a couple of hrs coincidence maybe but they had the truck for 4 days and could not find the problem. mgrantes Thanks this.

	to be honest, freighliner corporate has been a waste of time and energy 
 
 if a dealership (repairs, service and parts) screws you, corporate pushes it off as "they are independent" from freighliner
 
 thats why i try to choose my freighliner dealerships cautiouslymgrantes Thanks this.

	ANYTHING Detroit, and my trucks go to my friendly Detroit shop in Altoona,Ia. 
 Just a thought....
