I have a 2015 Freightliner cascadia it is a dd13.
my driver called saying it was leaking at a fast rate. Luckily he got the truck back and I took a look. All of the hoses are tight and no leaks or cracks there. The top of the radiator is not cracked. I looked near the bottom left and it was POURING coolant out of the plastic trim along the radiator. Only along the bottom and I saw small drips coming out of the sides of the radiator.
Will I need to replace the whole radiator or is this a valve issue? (My picture is very dark but is displaying coolant dripping out of the bottom left corner)

Your pictures do nothing for me. We used to have a good radiator shop around here. The end caps could be purchased from Freightliner. They would repair and test them.
Now we just buy new ones.Rideandrepair and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
Yep. Cheaper to R$R a radiator. Back to work fast
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
What exactly is R$R? I’m going to be completely honest this is my first truck and I’m just trying to figure all this #### out without the mechanics charging me for everything.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Remove and replace (R&R)
Bottom mounts wear out and the radiator hits the frame. Common with them, just replace itRideandrepair Thanks this. -
Thank you! Was hoping in didn’t have to replace the whole thing but I will just get it done!Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Did you get this repair finished? If so how much was the radiator and labor hours?
