How do you guys like the airliner suspension you can get with Wester Star or Freightliner?

Ordering my glider this week and the sale guy is saying that the airliner suspension is the best air suspension for 46k rears for on and off road use.

I love mine. My old FLD had it with 46k rears and rode like a dream when loaded. Had a bit of a "hop" to it when empty, but that's because of the heavy set-up.

My current Lowmax has the airliner rear as well and I have no problems with it at all. It is the complete opposite of my old truck tho and is lowered, but rides just as good.

One suggestion, don;t get the air-ride front axle. I have spoken with a dozen guys in 4900's and the SBA's and they say they ride horrible and seem to bottom out a lot. No idea why, but they all complained about them.

I needed a bushing replaced in the spring of the airliner suspension and the guy told me that if all trucks had airliner suspension they'd be out of business because other then having to replace the bushings every little while they never have problems

Sounds good! How is the ride with these?

I am not getting ride on the front, I have heard some very bad things about heavy loads and air ride fronts...
