I am with FCC, yep, they are out of Fremont, NE

In my 4th year with them. No plans to go elsewhere. I do the Midwest Regional thing with them. Loads are consistent, home every weekend, and revenue is solid. They require only a $1000 in escrow for freight claim if that happens. The only weekly fees charged are $10 for qualcomm. No fee to install. I have my truck insurance thru them. Total monthly for physcal damage and bobtail is $60. You are responsible for your own truck plates, but after the first year with FCC, they reimburse you for your plates each year. I have averaged between 135,000 to 140,000 miles a year while still home each weekend and holidays and taking days off for hunting season and such. So little sitting around that, for me, it never happens. I am preplanned 98% of the time. When I am not, I never wait more than an hour or two before load info comes across. I hardly ever turn down a load, because most of the customers and freight is good. I have turned down loads, and never got penalized or put at the back of the line. But, those loads went to locations I told them out of the gate I told them my truck would not see. Most of the trailers are Stoughton and Utility, fairly new stuff and well maintained. Pretty decent FSC, right now at .49 a mile, and very solid discounts on fuel. I fueled today at Love's in Clive, Ia and got .43 off the cash pump price per gallon. Fuel card is EFS and only charge is between .35 and .75 when you fuel. That is total fee, not a per gallon or some other game. They do all the IFTA, so there is nothing to do on your part. No worrying about having to cough up money to cover IFTA. Just buy the cheapest fuel you can find. They have all fuel stops (not just network stops) on the drivers section of the website and you can see the current price and current discount, updated every two hours. No requirement to stay in network for discounts, but best discounts are in the network.

We have a fair amount of stuff that runs in and out of Ohio. I go there quite frequently.

Anything else you want to know... ask.

Thank you for the info. I kept thinking they were out of Fremont, Oh. The miles and hometime sound like a perfect match. What do they pay per mile? If I may be nosy, what do you gross and net per week? The only place I don't go is NYC, Ontario, and Quebec. I wouldn't think that would be an issue.

No, not going to those places would be an issue. Those that do go there get bonus payments for doing so though.

Pay per mile is based on length of haul of the load. For me, that means anywhere from .96 to 1.10 per mile. (of course, add on the FSC to that rate). I really don't look at weekly gross and net so much as I do monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Helps keep things in perspective. I would say that my average weekly take after fuel, fuel card fees, qualcomm is roughly $2000, give or take. There are extra pays like stop offs and such that add up as well. It is difficult to say you would do better or worse because a lot has to do with what mpg you would get with your truck and many other variables. My Gross last year was around $177,000.

Well that certainly sounds much better than I'm doing now. Iam leased too Magnum Express out of Indianapolis. They are good people too work for, but the money stinks. I average 1600 too 1850 miles a week. All of their freight is short haul. Not quite the 2400 they promised. Its easy no touch, but there's just no miles behind it. I only bring in 7-800 a week home after all expenses. Iam going too call FCC on Monday. If you get a referral bonus PM you're name to me so you get some extra money. Thanks very much for the information. Be safe

I never got a truck from LMT. I bought mine a few years ago from Hawkeye International. I have looked into LMT off and on to see what kind of deal they are doing and what trucks are available.
