I smoked pot daily from 13 to 21 honor roll student, varsity football captain. Alcoho/tbbaco is gateway drug. Nicotine is harder than opiates to quit

No. 1. My dad was a hone-key cracker (me too), ergo, no colt malt liquor or king cobra.
No. 2. My dad wasn't a homeless wino, ergo, no Boone's Farm or MD 2020.
No. 3. My dad had southern class (he was an Alabama State Trooper captain after all), ergo, Kentucky bourbon and Co-cola. His poison was Old Granddad. Good stuff.

I smoked pot 3X a day grades 9 and 10. Had a 1.1 gpa and just wanted to be a diesel mechanic. I quit smoking pot on June 8, 1979. Went on to graduate from the Naval Academy and become a USMC aviator. In hindsight, I should have just continued smoking pot and become a diesel mechanic, because I'm basically winding up in the same place, except I'm driving, not fixing. :D
