Oh, I didn't realize you were that far up. I thought you were closer to Scranton.

    Update:
PFG is a good company to start, but man do they work your ### off. Most of the routes are 4 day routes and they are also team routes. They advertise that you unload each store with your partner and swap drivers when someone runs out of hours. I've come to realize that they didn't tell the whole truth...
Basically, the driver that takes the first leg is supposed to unload the first stop and/or second stop solo while the other driver is in the sleeper. Once you hit that next store, then both drivers tag team the stores from there. Once the 1st driver runs out of hours on their 14 clock, the 2nd driver is expected to finish any remaining stores solo and then drive back.

Couple issues for me are that this "system" means that you will be in the truck literally up to 24hrs for one route. You will only have time to go home (if any at all) for a few hours before getting right back in the truck. Also, unloading heavy food packages by piece (roughly 1400+ on average) is a lot of work. They guarantee $1100/week but is it truly worth it? Their pay formula makes it difficult to make more than the minimum.

As of right now, I'm trying to see what other no touch opportunities may be out there. I've seen drivers make the same/similar pay and not have to lift a finger.

Oh and not to mention, the only routes that are available all go to NY and they have no problem sending a rookie driver into the heart of NYC

Thanks. I'll give them a call. Their website says they want drivers with minimum of 2 years experience though. I barely have 3 months lol

"Sometimes" that doesn't matter, worst they could say is no. If your close to there it'd be worth the try. Haven't been with them since '02, I moved, but it was a great place when I was there.

Haha yep. That's how it was at willow run doing team NYC turns. About 24-28hrs avg and both of us worked the whole time. 8-9 stops we had. By the 6th stop whoever drove 1st their hours were up and got put into "sleeper" but you both still lumped it off. Really sucked if you were the one driving home. A lot of times we were so tired on the 3.5hr drive home we would split it up and drive on each others logs. And of course they knew that and said nothing

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Some other NYC runs had 12-13 stops but not nearly the case count we had. We avg'd 1350-1500 cases while some of the other city runs only had 800-1000. The new guy gets the raw end Lol
