FYI, it's Freymiller, (all one word). Been around forever, did a BK at least once, I believe a son is running it now.....Company drivers and O/O's and L/P. Reefers, maybe dry vans. 48 states, Main or only terminal in OKC.

They were on the verge of Bankruptcy and parts were bought up by AMERITRUCK when they did the big buying spree.

AMERITRUCK went bust and the FREYMILLER family got back a lot of their stuff , ran as D&M Carrioers for a bit until court allowed them to use the old name .

Was a good company at 1 time moved a lot of refrigerated freight , hit some bad stretches , today they are rebuilding , also own a truck dealership.

Good folks to work with. I only left to be home more often. Company drivers can schedule off every two weeks, but three-four weeks gets you better miles. Electronic logs and computer-optimized load matching work pretty well for them. They hit all four corners of the country and there are a lot of long hauls if you want them. Good shop, too, and I think they just got rid of the last of the hoods or are pretty close. You'll get an '09 or newer T660 or 386 Pete. Their new lease program is not an l/p. You pay by the mile then turn it in, purchases ended with the hoods.

Good info, thank you. I'm thinking/looking into L/P, was thinking JCT, then KLLM... now after being on this forum for a few days, I'm not sure anymore. Very good info from drivers but I would like to get a truck and seems there is no good company out there anymore, unless you just have the $$ to purchase one and go O/O.

Miles... that's the problem, over the last month I barely had 8k miles. With only a year in (you can figure out what my pay is) its pretty hard to put $$ away.

So I need to A) find a different company that has miles or B) lease with a company (that has miles).

    Well, that's plan A.

Now if I can find that company without actually going through working for a few different companies that would be great.

Ask yourself this. Why would a trucking company that knows nothing about me,want to help(?)me to be able to go out and make money. Lease purchase can really be tricky. Work as a company man or buy something cheap. You can buy used tractors cheaper than a pickup or car if you look around and do not get jumpy
