I've driven for Freymiller since April of this year. It's a very easy company to get along with. If you want things to complain about, the biggest would be e-logs. I would say if you know how to manage and edit your e-log, you can expect them to do a good job of utilizing your hours. HOS and load matching are integrated, but some loads still require relays and/or overnight drives to deliver on schedule. For the most part they plan conservatively, so if you want to be pushed you have to let them know you're okay with more than 500mi/day. I have averaged ~11,300mi/mo with a best 7-day rolling tally of 3,600mi. My driver manager has been great to work with, but I realize driver/dm relationships are largely based on personality and mutual respect, so my experience may not resonate across the board. Each dm has a group of 50-60 drivers they work with, and they like you to utilize qualcomm for communication as much as possible. The dm's are daytime only and there is usually 1 or 2 people available on nights and weekends. Communication is key, and i've never had a problem getting a timely response to a question or issue. The phones still work and you can pester at will if the matter is truly pressing. I can honestly say I have not met one rude individual at the company. Open door policy exists and interaction is encouraged. To note, payroll does an outstanding job and the company does offer Transflo to make paperwork simple. I can also say the shop staff has been very competent and accomodating, if not overly expedient, when I have needed service or repairs done. They do all of it in-house, so no pm's over the road. The trucks are mostly Paccar albeit an odd Cascadia or ProStar thrown in, all with apu's. I have a 2011 T660. The long-nose 2007's are almost completely gone (goodbye Acert Cats!), so it's all 2009+ T660's and 386's with Cummins or Paccar engines and 10-speeds. Overall, I think if you have a good attitude and realize that otr refrigerated freight has certain pitfalls you'll never avoid, the carrier is great to work for. I don't hesitate to recommend them, especially if you are a driver seeking a company that champions Christian values. If I could reshuffle the deck here, I wish they would consider more extensive use of dedicated drivers for some of their regular accounts. I've been on some multi-leg roundtrips I wouldn't mind doing weekly. However, I understand all too well how taxing the logistics of that can be within an otr framework so I don't begrudge how they run me. Hope that helps..

Thank you very much that was most informative. I'm looking forward to hearing back from the recruiter on Monday can I have your truck number to give them for selling me on the company? And do their apu's have power inverters preinstalled or do drivers need their own?
