Company driver at the moment, hearing a few things go around about good $ as an o/o pulling for Frito Lay in New England. Can anyone confirm?

Doesn't Frito Lay have excellent pay and benefits for company drivers?
I've never seen an owner op pulling trailers around DFW.

    Spartan0229 and passingthru69 Thank this.

Landstar pulls for Frito Lay also. Rates are way too cheap for me though. I don't haul cheap freight....

The rate you get from Frito will depend on you negotiating skills and other competition from independents and large carriers.
In addition to that, if you are a independent with one trailer you'll have to decide whether the 4 to 6 hour load time and on average a 2 hr unload is worth it.

    nax Thanks this.
