From Company driver to L/P

Looks like we get home for Christmas after all.

After a real bad NJ experience we got back to main office to have inverter put in. Got a surprise too new 5th wheel and a bunch of other work plus full service. Got us in and out in good time too 8 hours on dayshift.

Next load after this unload at Nestle will be bound for home tonight.

We are home and I will be staying home. My goats will kid this month and I have projects to complete. Hubby has switched dispatchers so he can get some more miles.
All looking great for new year hope everyone is safe and healthy.

I will say after a month.

 

Hubby broke down with water load at intersection off a exit in front of TA. He broke his driveshaft. Thanks goodness for ¢15 a mile maintenance fee. We will not owe on it.

 

Well, he got a new built driveshaft and got back on the road this morning. It was even under estimated cost.

 

So great when a plan comes together. Hubby just got final load and on his way home. His load delivers Wed. So I get to go with him and we will be home Wed night then he is off for two days. But he will be home Tuesday so I get one extra night with him.

Things going well so far no that he is out of warehouse. He is still doing some loads for them but his new dispatcher really is working out in getting him his miles. We are still in the hole but should I hope beout of most of it after this weekend or next. Selling last of cows and equipment. But I still have my goats, chickens and ducks. Will be cutting those back to original numbers soon.

 

Six days home and now back on the road. Time very well spent and we are almost caught up. Hubby going up to PA then on to Michigan. He has some truck work that must be done now. But he notified them and they will be waiting once he tells them he is almost there. Parts ordered just time now.

After fix he will be running hard. We got tax stuff in so I will be doing that soon too.
