Had a trailer rejected once for glitter on the floor ... You had to use a flash light and get at just the right angle to see spec of glitter here and there on the floor.

So much has changed since you started thread. I forgot what is the engine he has now? Is there only one company shop or can he get to another with...oh..say 2 mechanics? This is a real setback for you guys and I want to see things get rolling for you again.

What? Did you not say a bit back that company Told you they would Not work on any OO truck? Your saying now that they are?? Funny how they break own rules when they can make money on it.

So hubby has load for TX. Lots of loads going there I will guess it hurricane replacement seating. That guess comes from going threw Andrew in FL.

That’s what the old shop manager told me, then the owner stepped in.

Lots of good it has done you Wicked. Two months now and still no truck. Heard they hired back two other mechanics to help on engines.

Well, you called me un real and out of touch but guess what my prediction is here. I have personally heard from friends and seen pictures of empty shelves in korger and Walmart and many food stores. I was at Walmart here and their storage shelves were empty two full whole wall racks. Many items on shelves were missing so there were holes. Noticed this in stores I buy here too could not get items we use as they were sold out and not restocked.
Photos that friends are sharing is just as bad or worse. Whole bread isle empty word is truck not in for another day. Folks are noticing as I said. When I see the posts I make sure they know why. Tell them to contact their reps and complain.
We're reading all sorts of posts by drivers having problems now with timing. Getting into trouble from the Elogs on stuff that Should not be an issue but now is because of enforcement on time. Lots of cops being call in to escort drivers from warehouses.
Hopefully government wakes up before too late. But I am not holding my breath.

Instead of the government stepping in, just maybe the shippers and receivers will have to step up and get trucks in and out in a timely manner.

I don't like not being able to stop the 14 hour clock except with split sleeper time, but I also don't think drivers should keep taking it in the rear by having to lie on logs and drive over hours because of shippers and receivers. If goods get in short supply long enough, the people ordering those goods will demand the shipper get their trucks loaded on time. Problem solved.
