From Company driver to L/P

He has been. Very much settled in

 

Well what a last delivery. Double load for Meijer. Never ever pick up during the day at the Tipp City . We were there at 5 am and left at 8 pm. This was for a unload, First part of the load we picked up in Ga. All none touch hand freight by hubby SLC. Loading was fine and last part unloading in Lansing, MI was good. Just day shift at Tipp City sucked. Other truck there had their broker making there office a living he'll with calling. LoL

Now in main terminal doing 10 off and getting some maintenance.

 

Omg truck was service for water filter for fuel plus minor thing like door seal. Hauling 6000 pounds we just hit 8.1 mpg . We are headed to Florida again. This old truck doing good.

 

That has yet to be seen. Truck does not make the company? Company policy ois not the truck. We will be going over detention time pay. Hubby did that 14 we expect to get paid for 10. We shall see what happens.

 

BTW I forgot to mention. We are pulling a trailer with skirts on. One reason we are getting 8 mpg.

 

We will know if they do back that up in 17 but they might start it earlier. When hubby left they had just put up the signs that insurance would cover stop smoking programs.

They already have a ban on drivers that use tobacco , they can't drive the 15 and newer trucks. Since they replace truck every 3 years soon they will have no trucks not covered by ban.

 

Last run done for the week. We are home for 4 days. Truck getting cb installed then it comes to the house for clean out and proper setup inside.
