Well title has been switched over and electronics shipped up. All of old company numbers and decals removed and from what we gather in a nick of time. Seems more people leaving drivers including office folk.

Hubby will be back driving this weekend or Monday at the latest. He will take a power load up to MO then pick up our refer trailer. Then it's all running from there. We will be all caught up on bills by end of month and then paying off truck. I have plans set up to put 20¢ a mile away to start. Payment on truck and trailer don't start till August. Which gives me more than enough time to pay bills and last year taxes and build maintenance fund.

We have one great local mechanic for what hubby can't do. Crick Enterprise can do just about everything for us including inspection. When we move to MO it will be sad to loose that mechanic shop. But that won't be for couple years yet.

Hubby was home for 3 weeks. In that time we got some of the property cleaned up of scape metal. We still have more to do but in yard cattle and pig fence is gone. Pups are sold and have 3 to 4 weeks before they go to new homes. Then I and dogs will be in truck for a bit.
We have a list of things to buy for truck. One being the Falcon Eye camera set. Another being a refrigerator and wheel balancer, which will come first camera next then refrigerator. It feels good to be free.

How do you know you’ll be caught up by August? It’s trucking, anything can and will happen.

I know because one paycheck will take care of most of our months bills. He is not salary or cents per mile anymore but 85% of pay load.

Well, hubby is to leave today to get his trailer. He is picking up a empty and taking it to MN. He is getting paid $1.70 a mile to do this. Not to shabby since it's a empty. Once he drops it off he goes gets his brand new trailer. It's used but we will own it.

Trailer were getting is a 2013 Carrier 2100-a with 2700 hours on it. Yes, it's a refer unit as company hauls loads needing them. We will not be paying on truck or trailer till August to give us time to catch up on all bills and put away for maintenance and taxes. Payment for truck and trailer is much higher now but I know income will be triple of before.

Plans are that once bills are caught up this month we are going to get our outstanding loan paid off first. This loan we got way back when we started with Equity and this whole lease truck purchase. We needed it to get threw their 90 days of company be since they pay company drivers thirty five cents a mile. Once we got threw that it was ninety cents a mile. But that loan needs to get paid off now. After it's done the truck payoff will get finished as we will be doing double payments to get it done. Trailer we will take the time in the 3 years to pay it.

Now before you write back saying a $1.70 is low. Remember this is just to get him up to his trailer he is running Empty. After that they will be getting him loads over $2.20 and higher. Technical he is now full OO and leased on to company. But till we see title in hand in our name were considering it a lease purchase still.

Trailer delivered and our trailer picked up. First load for trailer is butter at $3.56 a mile for 449 miles only a 11 miles deadhead. Trailer is in good condition but will need tires soon. No biggie we will be switching out our super singles too with mechanic. He wants the rims so we will get duals back on and new tires. Hubby planned on that from start.

So as of now our paycheck for one week will be a full month at Equity. It will take us out of red on the house. Still waiting on escrow from Equity which should be this Friday. This is what we needed and are so thankful for it happening.

July were taking off to deliver our pups going to TX , MO and MT. They pay for that trip and then some.

The difference between a company that cares and knows there stuff from a company that doesn't is day and night.

Next load going to Massachusetts for Monday. This was hubby choice he got the price he asked for. It was listed won board as $2.14 he got it for $4 and there is only on till to be paid. He was told roads to go to get around all the others legally.

So nice to be stress free with a company again but be paid OO rates.
