    That wouldve been storm lake iowa hilshire. I loaded at the beef plant just down the road and would use the scale at hilshire

    We're back on the road after full weekend off. Truck went into shop for yearly inspection and we needed work done to pass. Wheel drums and marker lights needed replaced or rewired to the tune of $1,400. On top of that we paid a $300+ monthly phone bill plus ours and the dogs food for a month. Hubby wants to be out a month now that account is dry so to speak.
    Today is my birthday and we're headed to NC in the rain. To pickup a load of chicken going to Ohio I think paying $3.50 a mile for those that think in those terms,

    Ok this is nuts. Fresh killed chicken for Smithfield??????

    BTW stay far away from a Smithfield load. They don't pay enough for time taken. We're nine hours here. Some have been 28 hours just to get unloaded. Place has now been blacklisted.
    Almost cost us a good paying load to be delivered Friday.
