From Company driver to L/P

OK, this week has been one f up mess. First they put us on the trees then pulled them and put us on a rush, then back to the trees. Well that did not go well with first delivery as second load was first. Owner of first had two unload both then would not reload because it was his compition and they knew each other. Wtf don't punish the driver for your stupid battle.
Anyway after first load we dropped trailer and picked up another relay. Now were in Michigan getting truck worked on. Door was not opening easy and exhaust stack leaking.

 

Now the more interesting news. Hubby talked about lease. He signs papers on Dec 7. Can't be soon enough.

 

I hope so and company gets there communication skills better. We left terminal only to come back. Our load won't be ready till 2am. Steel case. What a week it sucks.

 

Well, things did turn around and now we're headed to Tx. Have one down, then have pick up for one out. This will be over Thanksgiving for us. First for me at least this time we're together for it.

That is making a huge difference for hubby. He is enjoying the job again because dog and I are with him. More like when we are on vacation, he is showing me all his favorite stops.☺

 

Happy Thanksgiving all. We are on the road moving right along with our load which is due Friday morning. Were in no rush and stopping at good truck stops for eats. Love Texas bbq

 

We'll, our week ends back where I started by at a on the dock to same company. So at we have been lucky to miss the weather. No complaints about the trip, it went smoothly.

 

Today's load we are picking up half from company and half from our warehouse. It goes to Missouri and then we come back to Michigan and hope to get a load to take us home. Gotta get back to stock up on feed for farm again . Brother in law taking care of it but he can't drive anywhere.

 

Well, we are driving threw the first snow storm for us this season. On our way back to Michigan then on to home for a couple days off. But first we have to get threw Chicago. Thank goodness we were warned headed of time of accident.

When we come back on the read next week it will be under lease. When we get to Michigan from home our time to start the lease will be then.
