I put new hangers on truck tighten all u bolts greased all fittings and when I make a hard right turn or left turn it makes a popping sound. It does it worse when a heavy load is on truck. Has anyone experience this. I talked to a few people and they said a little is normal. Not sure?? Everything seems tight and alignment all good.

Could be the front spring moving on the hanger.

sure it's in the front. did you ck wheel bearings

Sounds typical of side play in the shackles. When you changed the hangers, did you have both sides jacked up equally and squeeze the shackles together with a C-clamp before you tightened the bolts? When you only jack up 1 side, the spring twists and makes it really hard to get the shackles straight with no play. You don't want to squeeze it tight, just so there is no side play.
One thing that may have happened, is that the sides of the springs have a little wear, and now you have new spring hangers that are not worn. They could be a bit wider leaving side gap on rear spring pin. You may have to pull the spring pin and shim it a bit. -
You also may have to loosen the ubolts to allow the springs and rear shackles to all reassemble nice and tight then retorque your ubolts after.

Yes I put in shims in the spaces between the hangers. But still making the popping noise. Is it something to be worried about? ?? Could it be the front of the spring? ? There is no hanger there it just connects to the front end.

What type of pins and bushings are in your spring? Did you replace spring pins and bushings? If you have solid bushings in spring and you didn't replace those, you may have some grooves worn into them and when your turning they are pressured out of the grooves making your noise. If that's the case, even if you are shimmed tight, the movement only has to be slight to create a pretty noticeable noise. If you did that already, I would look at the springs themselves to see if there was a tie bolt/ anchor pin problem or some kind of visible movement with spring.
Big Lou Thanks this. -
Thought of another place to look as well. Make sure you don't have a crossmember or trunion looseness problem up on the front end of your frame rails.

Thanks everyone for responses. I will check out all that was told to me to see if i can find the culprit. Another words this is definately something that is not normal.??? There has to be a problem? So i probably have to spend thousands of dollars to figure it all out. I already spent around 1000.00 on new hangers and shackles and bushings and tightening up everything that is visible. I took a look there really is no sign of wear or movement this has me completely lost!!The truck is a 2010 peterbilt with 400,000 miles

Have you checked the motor mounts?
Big Lou Thanks this.
