My instructor at school used to be a DM for American Eagle here in Texas, their website is (www . aeal . com), and are a division of FFE.
He said they are a decent small to mid-size trucking company, no better and no worse than anyone else.
He said he only left them as a DM because he was tired of the industry. Then he was out for a few years and now teaches driving. -
My husband drives for this company. It's a good starter company as they do send you to a good school to get your cdl's. They keep you moving pretty well, average about 2,000 mi. a week, some more, some less. They pay for idleaire, Never had a problem with any reimbursements, had a few problems with our pay. They said they didnt recieve our trip-pak scan. But thats FFE payroll, But we got that fixed. We have a great DM, Never a problem with home time. We even get it in Fla. if we want. They dont go to Fl. too much. They dont go to the northwest, or new york. Over all, I say they are a good company, feel free to ask me any quesions, will be glad to help you out.

Is this company good, do they treat you well, and is the equipment and benefits good. Thanx and be safe.

I drive for american Eagle and so far they are okay they are the best to start out with so far. ask a lot of questions and make sure you get the answers you want. They will treat you good if you are not a COMPLAINER. I have been with the since I graduated CDL school. I get a lot of loads and some I can't take but no greef as yet I have never had to unload they have all been drop and hook. Unless you like refers go with American Eagle to start out with.
bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Hay Screaming Eagle how many miles are you averaging a week, where do they mostly run and i checked their website on their terminal locations are they thier terminals or FFE like the terminal in Zachary, LA. I average about 2000 mile or more a week and they have FFE terminals are all the same and they are every where. course the closes one to my home is GA. They Run from East coast to west coast and every where inbatween. There equipment is good I drove a 2003 truck When I started my solo and now I drive a 2009 Freightliner. no customer to consignee most drop n hook. some you will be unloaded. They pay Lumper cost. I have been from Pa to Calif, thats my longest run. I just recently ran from N decota to PA. American Eagle is a good company to start out with to learn and then move to one you want to stay with for a long time.
