Getting tired of my dispatcher not following through with issues I speak to him about. I will address missing pay issues... And the issue usually never gets solved in a reasonable time. I wait for the next paycheck to see the missing pay added, and still the pay will still be missing. I find myself having to make multiple attempts on the same pay issues before they finally are solved. This can sometimes be weeks before I will be issued the missing pay.
I know what I would like to say to my dispatcher... However when I leave this company I want it to be on my terms.
Any advice?

Can you request to be moved to a different dispatcher's board?

Ask to talk to payroll

Deal with Payroll re: payroll issues, not dispatch.
Wargames, celticwolf and lil may Thank this. -
No knowing what company you work for I'd suggest asking to speak with payroll. It may be taking longer because you are speaking with your dispatcher about an issue, then they are speaking with someone in payroll, and then they are probably taking it the the payroll supervisor, and so on up the food chain. Skip the dispatcher and go to the source. Payroll is a major issue and you should be involved in it. If the company is making errors they need to be corrected, if it's something you are doing that is slowing the process that also needs to be corrected. Best of luck to ya.

Tomorrow I plan on making a call into my dispatcher.. Any suggestions on how to voice my frustration? -
I have been on both ends as a driver and a dispatcher and it should be payroll that you need to talk to. Calling in and ask to speak to someone in payroll if you don't want to to it then you are going to keep having problems

Payroll for payroll issues. Dispatch for dispatch issues. Planning for planning issues maintenence for maintenence issues. Safety for safety issues. Easy peasy...
lil may, Jbrake1960, Hitman and 1 other person Thank this. -
Payroll might be the place to address payroll issues, but there could be things not being entered by the dispatcher that payroll has no control over.
Your dispatcher might be getting your miles but if you are not being paid for certain things or whatever, that is part of his job, then he is not doing his job so maybe requesting a new dispatcher might be the route to go. Or just tell your current dispatcher (sounds like you have) that you just cant take the stress of having to mess with these issues all the time. Put it straight forward like you have here and see how it pans out. -
