You can try Central Ref too. Sometimes they have hiring freezes in Fl so you have to catch them at the right time. Hell there's a truck stop down there so there is definitely freight! Good luck man!

Yea Luzon. I talked to the May recruiter about 5 weeks ago. At that time, they were not hiring out of Central Florida.

If you are single are you buying a home? If not why don't you drop the rent ask your parents or siblings or a friend if you can use their address for your CDL and maybe some "home time" and instead of paying rent on something else you'll use maybe 6 days out of the month then forget about 'home time' and take days off in some exciting areas of the country! You'll have a bed in the truck (who needs a stupid motel room?) and maybe a truck stop for showers but nothing beats being able to hop a bus or subway and exploring America one city at a time! I did for years before finally settling down and the money you aren't throwing away on an apartment and the electric that you're "using" while 2000 miles away or maybe coming "home" to find someone liked your stuff better than you did and cleaned your apartment out, is being saved for that day you do get settled down with a wife or partner. Heck it could even ,make a great down payment on a truck of your choice or even pay it off or that motorcycle you want that can sit in the garage at your parents house or even at the 'yard" you drive out of.

Just a hint as to what to do. I did it for a years and had a blast spending my money on me and not a stuffy apartment that was as MT when I got home as when I left! I learned a lot about America also from NYC to Yellowstone and skying in colorado MT CA ME and other places not to mention beaches at spring break to CA!

All those things you wouldn't be able to do while married or while wasting money on those walls you don't see!
