Fuel Card Discount information?

Start with Mudflap. It’s free and simple to use. Works best in the Midwest but expanding rapidly.

I have NASTIC and compare with Mudflap every day. NASTIC usually wins but there is annual and monthly fees. None with Mudflap

I also get some other discount services from NASTIC too though.

$.13 off already inflated fuel price at loves isn’t a really good deal. You would be better with RTS or NASTC.

 

I use Transconnect and Fuel Tech along with Mudflap. It takes a little time to check fuel prices when on the road. Each account has a region that it works better than the other two. I still occasionally will use my Debit card to fuel at an Independent Truck stop that is not on any discount list, and still save.

 

No, there is not. Have to check each one individually.

 

Most stores have 30 days to update the apps. And the current listed discount may not be honored.
This is a statement from both mudflap and the landstar app.
I usually pump 100.00 worth. Shut the pump down and verify the discount. If it's not honored I move on.

 

TCS (Transconnect) is a decent stand alone fuel card with a useable phone app. Mudflap is a little gimmicky IMO. Better than nothing but a real fuel card is better.

 

Since the price changes daily.
How does that 30 day to update work? Never heard of, nor experienced the actual price charged different than the app.

 

I don't really know. What I usually do is pump 100.00 stop and check the fuel card. If I get the discount. I go thru and finish pumping.
But 5 or 6 months ago. I shout have gotten about 87.00 or so discount and ended up with just under 6.00. so now I don't mess around. Hope this helps.
