Your 20 year old 379 is worth alot more then a 10 year old volvo

 

Only to those with cash in hand or enough of a lump sum downstroke to find a finance company who’ll touch it.

 

You can't find companies other then volvo to finance brand new volvos let alone 10 year old ones.
I have a finance guy who works for kenworth, told me straight up I don't have to buy a kenwprth he is a finance company first and foremost amd would finance another truck if I didn't want a kenworth as long as it wasn't a volvo

 

You go ask him if he’ll write a note on a 20 year old 379 with a price of $110000 with only 10% down. Over 54 months. Cuz I already know the answer.

 

Common sense kicks in. For 1 there is no 379 worth 110k unless it's a show truck, and there is definitely no 10 year old volvo worth 100k either

I looked not long ago on auto trader. Was litterally no 379, 389 or w900 on there. Few 388 589 680 and 880s mostly paccar engines

I have an 08 389 with cat motor. You telling me I should be selling this gold nugget I'm sitting on? Lol

I'll b honest that's a super clean looking truck, but i wouldn't pay that. I'm also in the prairies

 

older pre emissions trucks especially 379s and w900s are through the roof right now because there’s a huge parts shortage on sensors like def level . Everyone scared of being shut down for weeks even months on a sensor so there buying up old trucks .I know ohio truck sales is selling 2001 pete’s and 1998 w900 for 65-75k us and they claim they can get you financing
