So I drained the fluid out of my fuel filter yesterday and decided to check it again after running it an hour later and the filter was filled back up to around the middle which is where it was before? Does this mean the filter is at the end of its life? I haven't had this truck for very long and am not sure when it's been replaced last.

Should be a line on bulb indicating when to change filter. My davco has this. Higher the level the sooner to replace. You may also check your fuel restriction gauge as well to aid you. - Unsure if cascadia has this gauge… one bad batch of fuel can expedite your level in the bulb!

When the level gets up to the black line at top of filter, then it is time to change.
Sometimes that can take a few years. So I change it annually at the latest.

Oh great, that's the only place I fuel. I get the best discount there through Comdata.

That's where it was on mine. I've not seen it any higher than that so far. It's just seemed odd that I would drain it and then almost immediately it went back to that spot. How often do you drain yours? I heard Jason pope say he does his every day? Thought that was a bit excessive.

I don't ever drain it till filter change. If there isn't any fuel in there you would be sucking air. Had the Oring slip once changing filter and it wouldn't run for #### and had to prime it ever time to start
