Hey everyone. I'm working on a 2007 with a 466dt. The fuel filter light is on. Replaced it with a filter from international, cleaned out the housing and lower bowl and replace all the o-rings. Still on. Any thoughts?

Ok, I need to know if you are seeing "FUEL FILTER" or "WATER IN FUEL"? If you are seeing "FUEL FILTER" the engine you are working has the optional fuel pressure sensor behind the fuel filter module at the engine. The engine is detecting low fuel pressure at the engine and will turn this light on. It also will set an active fault code 372. Code 372 is for low fuel pressure, this code does not turn on the "CHECK ENG" light, instead it turns on the "FUEL FILTER" warning light. You can try a new filter at the engine, and clean out the screen at the bottom of the housing. The fuel pressure regulator is also at the bottom of the filter housing, should be able to see it with the filter out. It may have failed and need to be replaced.

Ok. I think I'll try the regulator. I have two codes for fuel presure and one for "internal sensor voltage supply". It is the fuel filter light that is on.

Thanx by the way!
