I plumbed two filters in parallel just for tits and giggles one time. It sounds simple but it is a trick to get the fuel to flow both filters evenly. Get a glass jar and fill it when you start fueling at a suspected problem spot. If a bunch of crap settles to the bottom, carry the jar inside and ask how is this happening.

    KB3MMX Thanks this.

I have had same problem with many trucks. Have you replaced all your fuel lines? If not that's your problem. Check your filter, drain it into a pan and you will be able to see black crappie from hoses.

2013-02-15 15.48.48.jpg This is what I did to combat crappy fuel and changing filters early. The complete unit is a Racor 3150R, the head flows 250GPH has 1.25" center threads (racor #RK31547). The filter flows 150GPH is 5" wide 6.25" tall 10 micron (racor #S3238 The reusable filter bowl has a drain and can be ordered with a 12volt heater. (racor #RK30063 and RK30900 12volt heater)

That's a TelTek fuel temp sensor that's plumbed into the top of the filter head and a TelTek fuel restriction sensor plumbed into the fuel outlet line.
