[IMG]Woke up to fuel gauge needle reading straight down, even though both tanks were about 3/4 full. Fueled later when I knew both were at 1/4 and took these pics. Switching tanks will still move the needle slightly, and I don't think both sending units would crap out at the same time, so it's either a bad gauge or a wiring issue. Anyone else had this problem?

I've had 2 issues that were easy to resove.
One was what seemed like a constant misreading no matter the fuel level. For that one I took the unit out of the tank drained it and reinstalled after checking for broken wires. Seems it was just stuck and hadn't acted up since.
Second issue was a no read with the needle pointing to E. Unplugged the connection closest the tanks and cleaned. Applied some fresh dielectric grease and again no more issues.

Hope this is of some help

Thanks. I'm hoping it's just a dirty connection, as it started giving the same 'zero' reading for both tanks at the same time.

    What truck?
If you have multiplexed gauges,it could be the jumpers on the back of the gauges.
