Nice write up. Don't forget to Winterize your air system. If you do get into a bind have plenty of clothes and some extra food. Crack your vent when you burn a candle. A portable propane heater would really make a huge difference for survival. A frozen truck just sucks.

Got a 4-pack of Sterno for the winter. It's just a few bucks at the grocery store. What they use on those hot plates at parties or what not.

Had some gelling today as my tanks wernt leveling. I don't think they have been treating fuel around here enough yet. A little attitive and it fixed itself 100 miles later.

This is a good thread to keep bumping up.
Having a jug of warm diesel along with your spare filters is handy. You can also use 911 to fill your filter. -
I just put howes in every fillup and 0 problems so far. Truck say all day Saturday, Sunday, until noon today and fired right off. It was down to single digits both nights. I looked in the tanks before I started it and not a hint of waxing up.
