Fuel hauler paying by the hour

That $26 is for the United Oil guys straight time. Training all depends on how long it takes you to get the hang of things plus you have to get carded at the racks.

 

Are the locks at Vinvale? Sounds like it. I've got a question for you guys. Do the old ARCO drivers that were grandfather in make more that the rest of the drivers. So if that's true then nobody could make what they make.

 

The answer is yes to the old drivers being grandfathered in, but I have heard about them restricting OT for those driver but idk if it's true.

 

I bet it is. I know when they have an advantage over the drivers they use it. Just like the drivers holding them to the fire when contract time come around. It's just the company has a longer time to say "hey if it's that bad go work for them".

 

The locks are at all the stations. Iirc top pay if you were hired prior to X date is $31, after X date is $27. Then there are some old timers making more than $31 but not too many left.

Yes we are but not shure for LAT as we just got a bunch of new hires cleared. Though some won't make it.

 

I did one of United's 76 stations the other day... must be short handed... That was the same day that power went out at LAT and the sprinklers went off on the rack lol.

 

I got paid $25 an hour plus OT. Double time after 12. I didn't work for a major...

 

Question is what do they pay now..? My guess is a lot less than that.....
