Mess with somebody's truck & trailer is a low life chicken #### thing to do.. People that do that have no nutts because they really don't want the the confrontation...
Thats something teenagers would do because they don't want to take a chance on getting laid out..
Now slapping a padlock on a trailer .. is kinda funny .. but I'am not gonna pay 20.00 to try to teach a gobber eater a lesson that they probably won't understand anyhow..

Every one of us must in these situations do as our morals require us to do. I just finished writing a comment on another website speaking to this. I said too many folks have a tendency to filter their morality through their politics. I have stopped drivers before when I knew for a fact either their 5th wheel or tandem lever was pulled. Still, I would hate to be that driver who witnessed a 5th wheel handle OR a tandem lever being pulled and later find out I could have prevented a death or someone being seriously hurt.

 

Speaking of morals. I’m the guy that picked up a $100 bill and handed it to the person in line that didn’t know he dropped it. I agree with what you said. I need to sleep at night.

 

Just for the record! As someone with 30+ years in this business I can tell you right now I spent far more time dealing with crap left by fellow company drivers doing drop & hooks and repowers than a few minutes dealing with some inconsiderate boob! If this job makes you into a monster every time you find stress you might want to consider getting out of the industry. I'm not saying this to be snarky, I'm saying this because stress can kill you! learn how to deal with it and leave other drivers alone.

 

That wouldn’t work on me I only set tractor brakes if button was popped I’d know something was up lol

 

Like all those drivers that pull around you on the interstate then jerk their trucks in front of you 20 feet from your bumper. I don’t even flip them off anymore. It’s not worth getting upset. It happened, nothing changes that. Back off the throttle and get proper distance between you. Anyone driving a 65 mph truck has had some form of this.

 

Speaking of money! I'm the guy back in the late 90s standing behind a driver who had this thing about flashing cash at the Atlanta Petro. I saw two young guys follow him out. I got another driver and we followed all 3 out and stopped what was about to happen.

My father watched a driver shoot another driver years ago in Sierra Blanca Texas. Was the final act of a long back and forth on the CB. This is one reason I try to advise people to leave other people and their property alone.
