Fuel island etiquette as a trucker.

The most efficient waiting queue (at least for ‘average’ waiting time) is a SINGLE line leading to to the NEXT AVAILABLE fuel pump, bank teller, grocery store checkout, or whatever. It’s been studied to death by marketing and time/motion experts. These ‘idiot’ drivers are the ones who understand this. But it certainly sucks if there’s not enough real estate to line up in single file.

 

Im usually parked by 1400. Im the guy ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK.....(in a virtually empty Truck Stop), with a straight shot out around 0100. I see that Fuster Cluck for the spots nearest the building and just laugh!
