My financial sources tell me that we haven't seen nothing yet!. 2011-2012 is going to be a hard awaking for most people!. Price increases have been held back and absorbed by manufactures for some time now. expect another 20% drop in your homes value, vast increases in number of homeless families and imagine $12.00 a loaf bread, $25.00 a pound coffee and many more really inflated prices on products we all use. $4.00 a gallon diesel I think that price will be considered as cheep in the near future!. Buckle your seat belts you are in for a wild ride in 2011!!!! I hope you have been buying lots of silver eagles as well as gold to protect your savings, and don't forget to stock up on ammo and cases of Jack Daniels! these things will help feed and protect your family in the future!. The government is having trouble printing more gold and silver (although I am sure Ben Bernanke is working on it). My wife and I are not farmers but we bought 150 acres of prime farm land in Wisconsin for now we lease this land to a local farmer the income pays our property taxes as well as services the land, We think the ability of growing food will be valuable in the near future. We have installed a solar as well as a wind generating system on our home cutting our utility bill 60%. Pay your home and other bills off in full and try to become debt free. In short circle your wagons and protect your family!( I guarantee the Government wont help you at all!.) There will be many desperate and hungry people in the U.S. in the years to come, and many will want what you have that's when the ammo will come in handy! If you are a driver and away from your family alot teach your wife how to shoot!.( Its a sad time for America) our kids and grand kids will be paying for this for the rest of their life!

With your doomsday outlook on life, I am very surprised you go to work in the truck on the road.

I have alot of financial background and it does not look as bad as you think.

I was saying we were in a recession months before most would admit it.

You need to do some more research then if you do not think they are the main reason, speculaters run up the price daily and when the price go's down it's usually traders taking profits. Fundamentals at this time do not support the current oil price. Theres bin plenty on this lately that the price of oil is between $25 to $30 higher just because of speculation.

As broken Spoke said things are not going to get any better any time fast. This country is in big trouble comeing up and the gov is just helping the problem. When things go bad this time the last recession will look like nothing. prices for goods are going up but are wages and net worth are going down or staying the same, not good. I dont think it will be a dooms day scenerio but none the less not very good.
