Fuel surcharges & company drivers

    You don't deserve any of the fuel surcharge. However, you do deserve 25% of the linehaul. The fuel surcharge should be listed on the rate sheet in a separate column.
    If you are not getting 25% of what is shown as the linehaul, then you got a problem with their math.
    25% of $5.00 is a lot more than 25% of $1.00.
    And if you are a company driver, they do't really have to show you the rate sheet, they just have to show what the total linehaul fee is for each load. And they can really show what they want.

    Mileage drivers know what they're making.
    They don't care about linehaul or fuel.

    Percentage drivers complain because they can't get fuel inlcuded. Yet they don't complain about free deadhead.

    The fuel surcharge belongs to the company unless you are going to pay for the fuel. I don't get what is so hard about this concept.
