I dont know how Swift thinks its ok to not pay miles to fuel stations I work at a Walmart grocery DC no where to fuel in about 60 miles in any direction but Swift gives fuel route and seems to not think they need to pay miles to fuel there trucks its bs 40 50 100 miles out of the way since they refuse to let u fuel only at Pilots petrols or Loves.

Its dumb they wont pay miles to fuel

Swift thinks it's OK when the loaded miles are anywhere under 25% of the actual.
They route you as they see fit. And if you don't like it, well, you can always go with a lease and fuel where you want.
That is how it is with a company driver.

It's the same with idle time.

None of us like it, but you have to play the game.

My way of playing the game, in one way, is to allow extra time on every load for this type of situation.
And then I don't worry about it any further, because that just raises my BP.

I've been written up for idle time, but I can never seem to get it to where they want it - at like 18%.

And I often ignore fuel stops if I have to go way out of my way. I'll get near empty, find a Pilot or J and call it in.
Pretty much the same if the fuel stop is at a terminal. No free shower if I fuel at a terminal.

Well there are showers at the terminals that are free :p
The terminal showers tend to be nasty though, truck stops have some nice showers these days, I just got my platinum status for my loves card so next month I have free showers and drink refills all month, since my mentor is an o/o he can choose where he wants fuel and he let me get the rewards so when im on my own in less than a week. I have 27.5 hours left of my training
