Its OK to disagree. I am certainly glad that your methods work and you have never had an issue.

Please provide documentation for the "some" wheel end manufacturers that say anti-sieze use is approved on wheel studs and or nut threads?

I completely understand that covering a wheel stud with anti-sieze and overtorqing it with a 1" impact will not allow the wheel to fall off. Doesn't make it right, or to recommend others to do so.

I Used Antiseize ever since I was a Kid in the 70's working on bicycles, Then motorcycles, then Cars, Made my life and others so much easier- So Since I started working on my own Rig- i Use it A LOT.....No Issues Ever. I Dont use it on lug nuts or U Bolts- But everyone else gets it.

I use anti-seize all the time on u-bolt threads, seems to torque up smoother and yes I use a torque wrench not an impact. Oil was messy and got idea from Mack when I didn't have synthetic white lead! Screenshot_20191027-210403.png

My documentation is from over a decade ago and really isn't worth me digging for. However, if your using anything more then a 3/4" impact and a torque stick or torque wrench on a wheel stud, then you have no business in a shop. I will always recommend never seize to anyone doing there own work. It's a simple task that can save tons of work down the road. And IF and only IF my truck ever goes into a shop, which the last one was 4 years ago for a flat tire, I won't let anyone mount my wheels without it, and won't let them tighten with a 1" impact. That's 150% pure laziness and incorrect teachings.

I use my 1/2" on most wheel nuts. That little SOB will get them within 1/4 turn of 500 lb-ft. If I give'r it'll go over 500 lol.
